Reto, you can not and never will be replaced. I learned so much about life from you. It started when we all lived in Spiceberry and it continued. You taught me how to ride a motorcycle and got me to listen to WHUR. I always respected you, because you was like a big brother to me. You were the epitome of what a friend was and should be. I am going to miss you Reto. The sting of death is so devastating. Some of us recover from it and some do not. But God promises us that we will meet again, so i am waiting that time. You left behind alot of beautiful memories, that will help with are sadness. We can also ask the God of comfort and mercy to help us to got through this rough time through prayer. RETO, you were truly someone special. We will meet again. You touched many people young and old. You left us a model for what a friend should be. Thanks for everything. |

RETO, only you could possibly understand what I am about to say. You were my closest cousin; the only one that could call me "skeezer" and get away with it!!! You were also the only one that I felt so very close enough with to share my problems as you shared your "experience, strength, and hope" with me. Cousin, I feel as though I owe you so very much ... always being there for me(at any hour of the day and/or night) under any and all circumstances. Hey, only you know what I mean when I leave you with these last words. "I AM TRULY DOING THIS FOR THE LAST TIME, NOT ONLY FOR ME, BUT MOSTLY FOR YOU. I KNOW AND FEEL THAT YOU'RE WATCHING OVER ME." I think about you every day, and I am sure that I always will. You are one person that constantly made me laugh when I felt like crying!!! I look forward to meeting up with you. Make sure you give my favorite Aunt & Uncle (Harry & Louise), along with our dear Grandma Florence many hugs and kisses, but the biggest one is for you cous'! |

May God Bless Harry on his journey. God bless his family and may you come to know the peace and serenity that Harry had found and shared with the friends that he made so easily. When I met Harry I needed a friend and Harry was right there. No man is the whole of himself. His friends are the rest of him. "Ride in peace Harry". |

Donna and Victor Brown | A Letter to Harry | September 2, 2008 |
Harry, its been a little over a month since you left us and its not getting any easier knowing you are not coming back. If I hurt this much, I will not pretend to know what your family is going through. You will be happy to know that so many people are surrounding Lisa and Morgan and taking care of them. That is a true testament to the kind, giving person you were that people want to give that back to your family now. Vic took the boys on the ride to Florida that you were going with them on-he said you would be so proud of the boys-they did great and rode in your honour, and went to visit with Julee. Summer is ending soon and we will enter a new season, but rest knowing that with each passing season, we will only miss you more. I will write to you again.

Rito, you turned your life around years ago. and you gave back to the community by trying to help others straighten out their lives. I will never forget how you tried to help my oldest brother. You even gave him a job. And, you were always kind to my mother.
I will never forget seeing you driving around on your motorcycles over the years.
You're in God's hands now; no better place to be.
God bless your family.

Where do I begin with Mr. Turner? He was a wonderful person. Sometimes he would walk in his daughters’ basketball games with his confident walk and motorcycle helmet. I can remember those basketball events when he would comment on every player about their pros and cons. He did not bite his tongue about any of the players. I remember sitting one step down from him at a game. As I mention earlier, he did not bite his tongue. As a result, I had the luxury of listening to his comments. I will never forget one of the comments he made about the girls. He could not believe how terrible the girls were playing in a tournament. He said, “You girls know better than that, now play your game.” I laughed to myself. Then he said to me, “what’s wrong with Brittany.” When he spoke about the girls from the Lady Panthers 7th grade team, you knew that he study the girls and their game. |

Please know that our heart-felt condolences are with you and your family at this time. I met Harry for the first time at the National Bikers Roundup in VA. It was easy to see his leadership qualities and the fact that he was a genuine caring person. He treated me as if he'd known me for a life time. We're all fortunate to have known him. |
